I have OD and a few months ago I tried to use either BootXP or LogonStudio Vista. I'm thinking that I didn't have problems with the logon screens, but when I tried to use BootXP on my Vista system I ended up having to do system restore. In fact, Vista just automatically did it because I couldn't start up. So I uninstalled both BootXP and LogonStudio Vista. Now I have tried to go back to using LSV --- but when I try to open the program, i get an error:

But once I click ok, the program does open.

I am a bit leary of going ahead and actually using one of the logon skins ....

I am using Vista Ultimate (not 64 bit). I have updated all of my stardock software through SDC

rotfl ... yeah, so it's not installed anymore, but what about LogonStudio Vista? I guess I can always do a system restore ...... lol

oh and the error message above was for LSV, not BootSkin

I use Logonstudio Vista on my Home Premium 32bit without any problems. Was pretty sure it worked on 64bit as well.

LogonStudio Vista is specific for Vista, so you shouldn't have any problems there.
